Ha ha! First to comment. Woo.

I've caught up on a bunch of episodes and, regarding the LOVE, ACTUALLY concerns, its fascinating to see the deleted scenes on the DVD ... it could've been nearly 3-hours long but had to be cut down!

Reg. Gary Oldman, I loved LOST IN SPACE as a kid, but haven't seen it for ages. One of the DVD's I sold on. I remember Heather Graham was in it... as a young teenage boy that always helps a film.

Reg. Jo-Go, I have only seen BRICK once and I wasn't bowled over. Maybe I'm a little cynical, but there seemed something about it a little bit ... pretentious. Oooh, high school, as a film-noir ... I mean, what other high-school combo's can be made? High School + Art House = ELEPHANT, High School + Shakespeare = 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU... High School + Musical = HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL.

What about High-School + Western? That hasn't been done ... I'll make that film. Copywright Simon Columb.

Sarah is a big fan of Cate Blanchett so we have a watched a fair few of her films. She has a really cat-like face - distinct and unique. I loved BANDITS too - that bit when Billy Bob makes that glocking (?) sound when the two are hiding gets me every time.

You missed a couple of fantastic films Blanchett has starred in. Jim Jarmusch's COFFEE AND CIGARETTES is great - a bit disconnected, but Blanchett specifically is great as she meets her (i think its...) her sister - who is actually played by herself! So, double Cate Blanchett combo - a great sequence. I'm sure you could find it on youtube. Secondly, NOTES ON A SCANDAL alongside Judi Dench. As a teacher myself its a weird film as she conducts an affair with a student - not to mention, she is an art teacher! like me! Judi Dench is outstanding in the film, showing a very manipulative and lonely woman abusing her position of trust - in many ways like Blanchett who abuses her position of trust as a teacher.

Lastly... THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON... she was great. Brad Pitt was crap.
