I've been playing my ipod on random lately and keep hearing songs that remind me of movies I love and so I thought I'd share. Thanks to YouTube, you can hear AND see the scenes I like.
"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" - 50 First Dates
"Tenderness on the Block" - Sliding Doors (okay this is a pretty obscure movie so I couldn't find the right clip, but this song plays at the very end of the movie where you finally see that everything happens for a reason).
"Thriller" - 13 Going on 30. I know there are probably lots and lots of other things to think when you hear this song, but I still love this scene with Jennifer Garner dancing.

Though it's been awhile since I've watched it (which may explain why I don't recall the song), I just wanted to give some love to Sliding Doors as well. Yeah, it's high concept, and yeah, Jeanne Tripplehorn is annoying in it, but it's Gwyneth at her best and John Hannah in his best role (and performance) I've seen.
My song; Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now by Starship - Always reminds me of Mannequin and the glory days of Kim Cattrall and Andrew McCarthy.
13 Going on 30 never interested me, but I didn't know Judy Greer was in it.
I've always the loved the ending of 50 First Dates as well...though I kept it to myself because I never thought anyone else felt the same way. Thank you for proving me wrong!
