Here are some more songs from movies that I can't hear the song without wanting to watch the movie:

"Golden Years" sung by David Bowie, and danced to by Heath Ledger in A Knight's Tale. Some friend's and I were watching this and drinking one night and somehow decided chocolate ice cream and Pirate's Booty popcorn would taste really good with gin and tonics. It doesn't.
"Jump (For My Love)" sung by The Pointer Sisters, and danced to by Hugh Grant in Love, Actually

How is it that you've done a second post on this and haven't brought up "Killing Me Softly" in About a Boy? I'm joking. I don't think as many people have seen that movie as I think have seen that movie.
David, I agree Killing me Softly is a great scene from About a Boy, but I don't listen to that song of my own accord. The songs I've chosen are on my ipod and always remind me of these particular movies. Maybe I'll do a different post about actors singing in movies. There's a great scene in Michael where Andie McDowell sings.
Alright. How about "Only Hope" in A Walk to Remember? Mandy Moore sings it in the film and they include the original Switchfoot version in there eventually.
I adore all three of these scenes, as well as, all three of these movies.
Some of my favorites are:
1. Blow-Johnny Depp cruising through the airport in his white suit and shades, making drug dealing look so cool, all to Black Betty.
2. Wayne's World-The guys rocking out to Bohemian Rhapsody still gets me every time.
3. Pulp Fiction-Pretty much the entire film, but more specifically the dance to You Never Can Tell and the following heroin od to Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon.
While it's not all that good a movie, I'd add the "Freebird" scene from ELIZABETHTOWN to this list.
When I saw A KNIGHT'S TALE, the "Golden Years" scene killed me because I could *kinda* recognize the rennaisance chords as a rock song...but couldn't place it until Bowie's voice kicks in.
Nothing drives me crazier than trying to name a song I know :)
