I still got some enjoyment out of the latter two, but I'm not sure if I would have had I not read the books.

Still, looking forward to at least checking out the first of Fincher's version(s) (assuming he's in for all three, which is doubtful).Fletchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17299302086449086987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5144458625742451371.post-68808173586453885232011-04-06T12:36:58.988-04:002011-04-06T12:36:58.988-04:00You liked the third one! All the pace from the first one was eroded awat in the second one and, by the third, its completely gone.simoncolumbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09027922399726786918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5144458625742451371.post-46908073086633247052011-04-05T19:03:54.178-04:002011-04-05T19:03:54.178-04:005piltreel - I really liked the "foreign"...5piltreel - I really liked the "foreign" nature of these flicks. I'm not sure the remake in English will hold up - perhaps if they still film in Sweden, but I doubt it.

Buttercup, I bet you'd really like these as a whole trilogy.Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06679283194534387443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5144458625742451371.post-91274594862626432342011-04-05T16:56:44.282-04:002011-04-05T16:56:44.282-04:00I saw these when they came out here in Finland a y...I saw these when they came out here in Finland a year ago and enjoyed them a lot, I'm happy the Nordic cinema is getting more attention through them. The thing is though that even though they are great films, the context of Swedish crime films and tv series that I'm watching them from gives these films less of a shine. As seperate from that movie/tv series scene they are great, but in Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5144458625742451371.post-18089362116877550022011-04-03T15:30:35.941-04:002011-04-03T15:30:35.941-04:00I've only seen the movie of the third book and...I've only seen the movie of the third book and liked it. I'm not sure I could have followed the very convoluted plot if I hadn't read all three of the books, but would like to catch up on the other two movies.Buttercuphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03804094230127512943noreply@blogger.com
